The Gerhard Society recognizes an esteemed group of community members who demonstrate their belief in Bryn Mawr Hospital's mission and work through their philanthropic giving. The Society was established in 1979 and is named for Dr. George S. Gerhard, founder of Bryn Mawr Hospital.
Gifts through the Gerhard Society provide a vital source of funding for the hospital, allowing us to support our patients and their families where the need is greatest. Please take the time to see how Gerhard gifts made an impact last year and opportunities to invest in the current needs of Bryn Mawr Hospital.
Gerhard Society memberships are granted to those with cumulative giving of $1,000 or more to any Bryn Mawr Hospital fund within a fiscal year (July 1–June 30).
Membership is attributed to the fiscal year in which you make your Gerhard Society-level contribution. However, member courtesies may extend into the following fiscal year depending on the date of your gift(s).
- Community Partners—$25,000 and above
- Invitations to virtual and in-person special events
