Donors are helping Main Line Health “Meet the Moment”

...and are racing toward the $5 million goal!

Thanks to our wonderful community of donors, the finish line is in sight for our latest system-wide fundraising goal of $5 million.

Called "Meet the Moment," this ambitious two-year challenge was launched in November of 2023 to help fund our hospitals’ highest priority needs – and has since raised an amazing $3.9 million! While other hospitals are closing their doors or limiting services, our donors are proving once again that they not only understand the urgency of this moment, but the importance of community healthcare in improving everyone’s lives.

Meet the Moment was created to help our hospitals navigate post-Covid challenges including sharp increases in patient loads, higher supply costs, aging infrastructure, and staffing shortages. Across the system, funds are already being earmarked for strategic priorities designated by hospital leaders, including equipment, training, staff recruitment programs, and technology. For example, Paoli Hospital designated funds from the campaign for construction of 12 new beds recently opened to help ease overcrowding and Bryn Mawr Hospital will soon purchase new imaging equipment. Funds are also being allocated for more mundane but equally important improvements – from flooring to HVAC upgrades to furniture.

Not that we ever doubted our donors. For decades, our hospitals have been supported by a wonderful community of friends, grateful patients and volunteers. Our neighbors have helped us build facilities from the ground up, fund research that saves lives, launch and sustain countless services and programs, and provide a bedrock of help and hope that has kept our doors open despite so many challenges – from recessions to pandemics.

To all our donors who have given to our Meet the Moment campaign, thank you. We are humbled by how enthusiastically you have responded to this campaign.
